According to my Track Atlas, there is an Up loop at Carnforth. Does anybody know how long it is? I want to send the odd Goods train in that direction from Oxenholme, but I don't want to cause a headache for the signallers further up the line. 512m for the UPL at Carnforth North Junction. Both bi-directional goods loops at Carnforth North can also take 435m trains. "CHECK Do you stop at Capenhurst?" - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bugsy |

If anyone wants to have that sort of information saved on their system, it is possible to go to the Network Rail website and view or download copies of the Sectional Appendices (at https://www.networkrail.co.uk/industry-and-commercial/information-for-operators/national-electronic-sectional-appendix/) and the Rules of The Plan (at http://archive.nr.co.uk/browse%20documents/Rules%20Of%20The%20Route/Viewable%20copy/MENU/TPRMENUyearXX.pdf).
