I’ve just watched a route learning video on YouTube for 'Bounds Green No.9 Road to Kings Cross'. The train travelled on the Up Slow as far as Holloway South where it crossed to the Up Fast. It continued through Copenhagen Tunnel and upon its exit a screen caption appeared showing the train's routing (see 1st screenshot). Nothing amiss so far.
As the train approached Gassworks Tunnel another screen caption appeared (see 2nd screenshot). You can see that, according to this caption, you are able to terminate in platform No.6 from No.2 Fast Route ‘A’ once in the station throat.
I was rather surprised by this as, not only does the SimSig layout not reflect this, but when allowing the video to continue you can see that a path to platform 6 doesn’t exist! Ooops

Has it ever?

Edit:

I've tried to edit this post so that you can see both screenshots. Unfortunately one of them will have to be downloaded to view it. Failure on my part.

Also interesting to note that at around 3:30, the PL on K456 reverts. Had been wondering why the route would be set, possibly usually left off if it's got opposing locking omitted?

No. The caption is wrong.

In the original layout it was A to 1-5, B to 1-9, C to 4-10, D to 8-10. Later 0 and 11 were added.

Quail shows a crossover between C and D just inside the south portal of Gasworks Tunnel (which would allow D to 4-11), but I don't ever recall seeing it and it doesn't show in the 2015 Sectional or the panel photos I have.
