At last Three Bridges is here! All of the panels on the main board are included, plus Reigate SB, giving room for up to 9 players. ARS is also provided which means you can actually run it solo.

Timetables for 2009 and 2019 are provided. We'll also be providing a 2015 timetable soon, along with updates for Victoria and London Bridge so they can be chained in with compatible timetables.

Enjoy!

Thankyou to everyone for this sim been waiting for a very long time for this! Quick question, I turned off level crossings on the sim options yet the level crossings are still in the sim and are required for me to lower the crossings still... Says in Scenario's they're unticked also. Or am I missing the point somewhere lol

EDIT: Sim now hides level crossings on retrying.

A huge thanks to everyone involved for this. Nearly as big surprise as when L Bridge suddenly appeared... And I fly off on holiday on Tuesday so something to keep me occupied on the plane and in the sun.

A first day purchase for me.... So excuse me while I pop off to part with my holiday dosh

I have just started up a 2000-2013 era run and the crossings are correctly not enabled, any chance of providing a save game to enable the dev and/or testers to investigate further please.

Also the other start up options (especially the era) that are selected maybe helpful.

Cheers

I just restarted the sim again same options again for the 2018-2019 era and now the level crossings are not showing as I requested, must've hit the space bar by accident in my hurry to fire the sim up and turn them back on lol. Thanks for your help anyway

This one looks like it will be a proper challenge! We must also be quite close now to simulating all current Thameslink routes, which is pretty insane!

In terms of chaining I see that (at least on first appearances) East Coastway, Lancing, and Oxted all work fine, and Victoria Central and London Bridge currently refuse to work but you mentioned updates in your OP.

But what about Horsham? It provides a "Chaining Arrangements Inconsistent" error — I haven't got far enough to actually test if it works regardless though. If it doesn't currently work, will it be updated?

London Bridge and Victoria C are pretty much ready to go. I wanted to release the sim and concentrate on that first, then re-release the adjacent sims, to avoid muddying the waters. Horsham requires chaining data and, as far as I know, the developer has not progressed with this.

Geoff,

It was many many years ago, that the original Croydon beta was released by a dormant developer that caused me to stumble across SimSig. Knowing nothing about the railways, just wanting to write a timetable more accurately than I could on train sim.

I half expected it never to see the light of day again, so thank you so much for re-assigning and turning it in to Three Bridges. All the hard work that has gone in to it is clear to see.

Many thanks
Gareth

Perhaps not quite that close, though, since West Hampstead, King's Cross, Victoria South Eastern and most importantly London Bridge would all require additional work for a current-day era to actually cover the current Thameslink route, though.
In terms of the previous long-standing Thameslink service pattern on the other hand we're pretty much there...

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

Outstanding sim and one I have been looking forward to for a long time. Thanks so much to the developer and testers.

One query using the modern timetable and options on the down main approaching Ouse viaduct area I get some unusual aspects so thought I'd report this, see attached.

Thanks all involved for rolling out another great new sim, glad to have a chance to control yet more of the country's railways.

Also noting that the sim doesn't have an 90's era to match with vic central reminded me to re-find this which shows the fringe arrangements for the branch from west croydon at possibly a usable level of detail and might help. But I assume the reason an 90's era is not provided is likely some other changes elsewhere in the area that source data was not available for.

You probably could chain 90s VicC with Three Bridges. We just don't want to say an era covers (eg) the 1990s and then find out there was some other big change. Older data is harder to get, certainly. Extra eras do add a lot of complexity to a sim.

I can't seem to get the TC override of Redhill platform 0 to work. I've set the route from T502 to T482 and have then tried to right-click the P0 TC override button, but it seems to have no effect.

EDIT: Save attached.

"updates for Victoria and London Bridge so they can be chained in"

Is the chaining option for Oxted included too? Albeit with compatible timetables required?

The track circuit override buttons at Redhill should only work with the Ground Position Light shunt signals and not any main aspects or subsidiary signals associated with them.

EDIT: Save attached.
Call-on routes into occupied platforms automatically clear without need to use the TC overrides once the approach control timer has elapsed.

I have clarified the relevant section of the manual:
Quote:
Track Circuit Overrides
A number of locations have track circuit overrides. These provide an "are you sure?" moment for the signaller when routing from ground position shunt signals into occupied tracks. They do not need to be used for call-on routes from main aspect signals which will clear automatically once the approach control timer has elapsed.

To operate, set the route normally, over the occupied track. Right-click on the appropriate red circle to operate the override. Once that and any other conditions are met, the shunt signal will show a proceed aspect. The override will cancel automatically once the route has released, either behind the train, or by manual cancellation.

Norwood Junction platform 7 override has never worked in real life and this is simulated in SimSig.

Using the 2019 TT, 2O88 doesn't call wrong route when mis-routed towards Guildford from P0 at Redhill - the driver isn't so confused if routed correctly into P2 first!

On opening the sim with the 2019 timetable signal T353 at Haywards Heath shows a TD greyed out looking as if the track is occupied by a service. Having checked all seeded trains there are non that do not appear as normal and in the correct locations. I have deleted the sim and reloaded from the loader but the same occurs. Is this correct or is it something which might have been deleted from the timetable but is still showing.

Logged on Mantis for attention.

It's nothing to do with the timetable or anything that's been deleted from it.
