I'm currently working on a Tyneside IECC 1987 - 1988 TT. Now today on start up I left the 4 freights currently seeding on the sim at start up to run a bit. Now 6P54 seeds at 108 signal protecting High Level Bridge Jn. Following a phone call to sat the driver could proceed & the route was set as can be seen on the attached screen grab. The F2 states points set against train, resulting in the problem that the train never moves. Not too sure whether this needs the devs attention or whether this has been caused by the train actually seeding at the protecting signal & for some reason the points on start can't change position if that possible? The ARS is set to on as normal, but no extra. Anyone got any ideas round this or is this that needs fixing? The only thing I'll try is to seed the train further back to Greenfield Jn to see if that cures the problem. There isn't a save as the sim has only run for 1 min 38 secs. But thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I may be quite wrong here but behind the train is "Down" and it's showing "Down" as its direction even though it's routed through onto "up". Maybe it's seeded the 'wrong' side of a down/up boundary and needs "up" as its seed direction? (I've tied myself in knots once or twice on NLL and Westbury with this). I wonder whether it would happily set off the wrong way if you swung Greensfield junction.

Good call, yes, that track section has a change of direction (triangular junction). Without seeing the TT I don't know the sequence of locations used so it might be a bit confused on that track.

I would avoid the danger zone and seed it one signal away.

I was going to try that after I'd finish doing the tt'ing for today. I'll let you know how that goes.

I re-seeded 6P54 at 122 signal Greenfield Jn & this time it all worked correctly. Thanks for the responses.
