[quote=Ray;post=134335]Lets just cut to the chase and ask SimSig if they are going to be Santa this Christmas with a nice new Sim all wrapped up in Tinsel. The long awaited Preston would be lovely.
But have you been a good boy this year?[/quote no

Im sure we have all been good boys this year and look forward to secret SimSig santa calling with a shiny new simulation for Christmas and the New Year !

I have decided to buy myself at least one new sim this Christmas. I have at least 9 sims in a list and I intend to buy all of them eventually, but the question is, will there be a new sim release?

I know that the stock answer will be 'wait and see' but the suspense doing my head in :D

And mine also. Not only would it be great fun to have something new to play on (isn't it always?) but it would quite probably alter the whole Xmas game schedule.

But, to quote Manuel from "Fawlty Towers", I know nothing. As you say, we must wait and see.
Dave
I'm sure you're actually quoting the wrong person there Dave, Sergeant Hans Schultz of Stalag 13 is the much better and well known as saying "I know nothing, NOTHING!"

Sergeant Hans Schultz was of course the character played by John Banner in Hogan's Heroes.

Just thought I better correct you that's all!
May this post stand as a warning to people to check their facts before "correcting" somebody on the internet ...
However I was partly correct because that quote was first said by Sergeant Hans Schultz as Hogans Heroes aired between 1965 and 1971 while Fawlty Towers aired in 1975 and 1979 so you could actually say that while Manuel in Fawlty Towers did say it, the fact remains that it was Sergeant Hans Schultz who was first to be connected with the phrase and over six series unlike Fawlty Towers single episode.

That would be an ecumenical matter.

I hope for nothing, so am always happy when something is released. Let’s just wait and see

As for Three Bridges, it can be a bit manic, but remember it has ARS too. You just need to keep an eye on the sidings and depots at Selhurst and Lovers Walk. Would recommend - busy even when all running well!
Bought it let the mayhem commence.

Following some of the advice given in the posts above and after studying a list of sims that I am interested in, my daughter has successfully made a purchase using her PayPal account. I guided her to the list of available sims for purchase and left her in peace as I didn’t want to know which sim she intended to buy.
Unbeknown to me at the time, she actually purchased two sims as she decided to buy me a birthday present as well as a Christmas present. She was unaware that when doing so she would have been able to get a ‘Muli-buy’ discount and of course I didn’t tell her as I was only expecting one sim.

I know that this is probably a rare occurrence, but would it not be possible for the purchasing process to recognise that more than one sim is being purchased and apply the discount automatically?

Anyway, I can now happily remove Central Scotland and West Yorkshire from my list of desirable sims.

Happy Christmas everybody

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.
