Running the 2009 (0445 start) TT, 5D98 0502 Central Rivers - New St is booked to stable on 1 Sdg at New St. The only valid route I can find is NS244 Up Stour - NS202 Pfm.5B - NS173 1 Sdg. However, when NS244 clears 5D98 calls up querying the route stating platform (5B) is too short. As NS202 will not clear until the track circuit in Pfm.5 is occupied the only option I have to get 5D98 moving is to abandon its TT then reinstate once he is on the move.

A forum search reveals nothing relating to this so I'm guessing there must be an alternative method of getting 5D98 to 1 Sdg that I've yet to stumble across.

Phil.

Phil, you need to set a route from the red triangle by NS244 via G Route to NS197. NS197 should be pre-set to NS173 because 5D98 will require the full length of No 1 siding if its more than 4 cars. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris, I thought I'd tried pretty well every route combination, but not this one! That's sorted and things are getting back on the move.

Thanks for your help.

Phil.
