Hi all,

I'm currently doing a batchelor's degree project into cybersecurity and the transport industry. I am looking at the development of ERTMS and was wondering if the signalling systems which Simsig simulates are closed circuits with communication between the signalling centre and infrastructure or is there any remote access built in to the systems which could be compromised by attackers?

Many thanks in advance.

Jon

It may well be contacting the IRSE as well who will likely be able to provide more detailed technical information.
