Following my recent post about the routing of 7T97 on to 'Down Goods' line at Swindon, I have had further problems with its journey from Swindon to the Stone Terminal (Foster Yeoman) at Wootton Basset. On approach to signal 62 and the routs set for Chippenham line, the train decides to reverse back to Swindon. Manually reversing the train brings it back on route but the train decides it won't stop just past the Stone Terminal siding and continues apace towards Chippenham! A manual reverse is required 'again' to bring the train back towards the siding. Now this is not the only train to behave like this; in another 'Swindid' simulation, I think it is the February 2020 one, there is a train booked from Cocklebury Sidings for the Stone Terminal which reacts in exactly the same way. What to do to rectify this problem???

The Timetable has the wrong location. It should stop & reverse at "Wootton B Jn Sig S645 (rev)" not Wootton Bassett Jn. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

So what would I need to alter on the timetable? Passing time at Wootton Basset Jn shows 14.23 and so train should not start reversing there! Timetable then shows Stone Terminal arrive at 14.33 and so I should alter the timetable at this point to Stone Terminal signal 645 rev. Will this alteration stop the train from reversing at Wootton Basset Jn.?
