Having had our regular Xmas quiz, I thought I would do something to get the grey matter spinning after all the yeast product on New Year's Eve.

So on to your starter for 10

11) I fancy Dalwhinnie rather than Dent

29) George Stephenson
30) Isambard Kingdom Brunel
31) It was longest span shallow arch that many commentators thought would fall down. Brunel put staging under the arch while the first trains passed then took the commentators to see that the bridge was clear of the staging and not resting on it.

4 - I think Farringdon was a terminus when it first opened.
22 - Central Line, West Ryslip to Epping, though I think it may be possible to go all the way back to West Ryslip at certain times of the day around the loop at Fairlop.
