Hi,

I can't see the loop length in the manual, please could you advise the usable length of this? (map suggests about 30ch).

Trackmaps shows the pointwork at 20m 50cm and 20m 04ch respectively so 800m seems about right. Satellite view shows that the distance between neck buffers is 0.6mi.

You'll be wanting to log a fault with your signalling provider

I don't even know how to answer that.
I don't think we have a train over 800m that I can check it with. LOL

Just checked the closest is 6L48 729m.

MD101 Sectional Appendix page 011 dated 19/09/2015 shows it as 794 metres.

Even taking into account your screen is post-resignalling and the sim is pre-resignalling, it's still wrong! Satellite views in 2006 and 2021 show no difference in loop length (+/- a handful of metres, perhaps).

You need some reason to loop a freight and call-on another freight service ;-)

I can confirm it is as mentioned previously by Stephen
