I raise a query regarding the line speeds at Salford Crescent although it doesn't really affect train timings. I watched a train while running a session from from 50mph to 25mph on the Down Bolton through Salford Crescent Platform 2 then back up to line speed on the Down Bolton to Bolton etc. I have opened a few Sectional Appendix from 2018, 2019 & 2020 including the latest from 2021/22. Down Bolton from Orsdall through Salford Crescent to Down Bolton is all 50mph. During my initial findings I have watch a couple of train run over that section and it seems to go to 25mph at the junction (Up/Dn Sal) before the station. As it bi-directional at Salford Crescent apart from UB. Trains will do 30/25mph out of Platform 1, 40mph UB towards Manchester and the other direction Platform 2 remains 50mph. Where it's 25/30mph onto the Down Atherton & 50mph to line speed on Down Bolton to Bolton. The UB/Platform 1 lines looks ok line speed.

Mantis 36134 for investigation. At a cursory glance the speed over points 2509 is the wrong way round N/R.

One other thing the line speed through Piccadilly Platforms 13 & 14 is 20mph. Closely observing some trains last night on the Down Slow from Ardwick Jn to Platform 14 or mainly between Signals 349 to 393, I have recorded trains doing 15mph instead of 20mph the actual line speed. This also seems to apply on the Up Slow from Platform 13 to Ardwick Jn. I know all the cross overs are 15mph and into the all the bay platforms (inside the shed).

Anything else you've noticed? It's far easier to test 10 things and release once than to test one thing and release times 10.

I agree with yourself on that, these two were the ones I found recently on my testing. I'm not 100% on routes south of Piccadilly. Only routes from Piccadilly towards Vic/Preston/Lime St via Multiple Routes.
On call routes from trains via Fasts to Platforms 9-1 don't seem to show position lights to allow the train to move into an occupied platform.
I'll let you know if I find more.

Piccadilly IRL has Lime St Controls - my own experience indicates the ones in the sim are a little on the cautious side, sometimes preventing booked moves which ordinarily happen without issue. That said, I've also seen a pair of 331s overhanging a starter signal (6, I think) but as that was during storm disruption may have been a least-worse option!
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

I haven't found anymore issues or queries regarding line speeds. So only three to handle.
Line Speeds - Salford Crescent Station approaches and station.
Line Speeds - Manchester Piccadilly Platforms 13 & 14 to Ardwick both Up/Dn Slow Lines.
Calling on routes - Slow/Fast lines at Piccadilly doesn't always seem show the position lights to allow a move into Piccadilly 1 through 9 that is occupied. Seems ok Plat 10-12 from both Fast/Slow.

Mantis 36135 to check Lime St control. I can see the data is there but it's possible SimSig trains stop a little too far from the signal and occupy a track it requires clear.
