Hi folks, can anyone please help me? ( I am playing STAFFORD) I have managed to run round a train and set it going to its destination but when I get 7Z02 into the station (engineers tamper) I can't get it to run into sallop sidings, does this train have to be in royal mail or a platform?. How can I get it to go to where it's supposed to go????
Thanks

It's timetabled to enter Stafford via the slow line. You can run 7Z02 into either Royal Mail/Goods, Platform 6 or Platform 5 and then route it into Salop Sidings using signals 1022, 1024 or shunt signal 6204 respectively.

I tried it just now and it worked. Here is a picture of Stafford showing the signals you can use (shown in green).

I hope this is of use to you but let me know if you have any more problems with it.

Cheers, I have worked out where I was going wrong, I was routing from the starting signal to Salop siding SHUNTING signal instead of the exit arrow!. Thanks for your help.
