if you load sheffield as a server in 1980's mode your client connects but theirs is in modern mode the trains still appear when sending trains through bits of track not there on modern but they just seem to appear from nowhere... meaning the host is in 1980's era but the client in modern......

I'm slightly bemused here: clients should be picking up stuff like this from the server - there's no way to start a client in a particular mode.

I've used sheffield in 80's mode alot latley, with several MP sessions and have never come across this issue.

I hosted Sheffield 80s once, did have issues getting everyone on the right era.

Just a thought could this be caused by people running diffrent versions of the simulation.

Just tried this - Sheffield loaded up twice on the same PC (same version) one in server mode/1980's era and the other in client mode connected to the server sim. The client initially loads up in 1980's mode then switches to modern when update complete.
