Involved in a Trent game, and whilst in control of Clay Cross, a message came up to inform me of a signal lamp failure within the CX area.

On closer inspection (once I had located it!) the signal in question is DY584, a DERBY controlled signal - should it be doing this?!?

I'll just take a 'stab in the candle-lit dark' here by saying that I reckon the sim thinks it's one of your signals and not the fringe signallers signal so reports it as a signal failure on your panel when it is not - and this is perhaps caused by a slight error in the coding..maybe?

I think external failures is a new feature in this sim where things in other signalboxes controll area do fail as well as yours
