Well, I thought Trent was a BIG simulation but Edinburgh is absolutely HUGE.

I am always grateful for what I receive but in this instance the developers have truly surpassed themselves. So, a HUGE thanks must go to all involved for this absolute masterpiece.

God help us if Kurt ever decides to write one of his 1985 loco-hauled nightmares for this simulation !!

Don't worry I will be doing 1984, but in my style not Kurt's.

Well, a big thanks to all involved in developing this sim, it has certainly got me hooked. As Javelin says, it is huge - dont be fooled anyone who has only done the overnight part yet - by 0800 I had 56 trains on the sim.
I have been playing it alone with ARS on full auto with some late running, and the phone still driving me bonkers with so many Class 6 and 7 trains waiting for passenger trains with priority. The ARS works better too, but you need a close eye on things as it tends to prioritise all late trains, even if that is a goods train. That said, I over-rode the ARS at one time and blocked up platform 1 entirely with a so-called Mexican Standoff of my own making. So far got to 1000 without any real issues, save for the sleeper joins as I noted previously and seem to have been extensively discussed.
It is a very difficult sim to operate and should come with a health warning! There is so much freight around which needs carefully pathing to avoid blocking a Class 1, especially on the Mid Calder line. Haymarket can soon get blocked up too at peak times (though made worse when I had a platform blocked by a failure for 40 mins at 0800!
So a big thumbs up guys, both for the sim itself and the timetable.

Maybe worth a try with the ARS turned off for Cl6 & 7 trains, see if it helps.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Fair point Andy, and only just seen I can do that. Dont generally use sims with ARS but this would have been impossible. Will try switching off for freight, and see if it helps, probably will to be fair (had been collaring signals so it didnt autoset whilst I wasnt looking!)
