Apart from the new familiar problem with the Caledonian Sleeper, I barely got the simulation set up when BOOM - up crops another! This problem however seemed odd as it did not surface the last time I ran the Edinburgh sim. The 3-car 170 inbound on 2B14 is allocated to P15 at Waverley. Shortly after, a "seeded" train appears (5X15) and is also booked to P15. There 5X15 to become 5B42 and couple to 2B14. Both trains are identical length (69m), but when I attempt to signal 5X15 into P15, I get the message telling me that this move exceeds the platform length. Any ideas - apart from the obvious? Already reported here. When 2B14-4 arrives first, it doesn't go all the way to the buffers, so just needs moving up and all should be well. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |
