Set on Saturday 3/9/2016 using passenger rolling stock and diagrams as allocated on the day, with actual Freight workings referenced against which ran that day. However, on the day in question, several events took place that conspired to create significant alteration to the service. These changes are captured in this timetable.
THIS TIMETABLE IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH THE PONTYCLUN CLOSURE SCENARIO - Both mainlines were closed west of Leckwith Jn after the passage of 5E68.
A pretty near normal timetable ran with certain "Valley lines" services terminating and turning back at Cardiff. The "Monster Jam" event at the Millennium Stadium meant that both ATW & GWR both operated additional services. GWR also strengthened the Cardiff Portsmouth services throughout the day by adding either a 150 or 153 between Bristol & Cardiff
