- Friday night sees the continuation of the Motherwell & Carlisle chain.

On Carlisle there is a few issues of concern.
A lockout of the route towards Petteril Bridge Junction meant no trains have left Carlisle towards here for the last hour, the route is now available but congestion remains. To compound issues the route towards Dumfries is unavailable and therefore any services to this location have been held at Carlisle.
Motherwell has seen heavy delays at Hamilton West due to the failure of 2S26 which should be on the move imminently following fitter attendance. Service recovery granted to SR.
A TCF on the single line through Barncluith Tunnel means a Pilotman is assisting with trains in this area. Panel 1 is a busy one!
Elsewhere on Motherwell is seeing only minor delays but I have a funny feeling thats about to change.
