Overlap Selection

Two signals (SY163 at Tysley and SY204 at Landor Street) require you to select which overlap to use when setting a route to the signals. When setting a route, set the route as normal, however after clicking on SY163/SY204, click on the arrows marked O1/O2/O3/O4 to select which overlap to use.

Note that selecting the overlap for one direction does not stop you from setting a forward route in the other direction (provided said route is clear)- simply set the route as normal.

If you want to swing the overlap manually having set the route, click on the signal, then select the other overlap button to the one the overlap is currently set towards.

There is no need to select an overlap if a route is already set from SY163/SY204.

If setting a warner route towards SY204, simply set the route towards the yellow exit triangle- you don't need to select an overlap.

Ground Frames

Ground Frames on Saltley are shown with a single release button, rather than the N and F controls used on most other simulations.

Where a phone call is required to the relevant siding, you will need to obtain permission from that signaller prior before you can clear the relevant signal/slot into the siding. See the relevant panel notes where this is required.

Semaphore Signalling

Semaphore signalling is in use at Shirley, Henley-in-Arden and Bearley Jn. See the Stratford-Upon-Avon panel notes for more details.
