Leamington Spa

London Midland Region

Introduction

Leamington Spa is a small, yet busy, simulation covering 20 miles of mixed-traffic railway from Banbury to Warwick. At Leamington, the single line to Coventry diverges. The route forms part of the Chiltern Main Line and the cross country network, and is also heavily used by freight traffic, most of which is container traffic from Southampton to terminals in the Midlands and north west. It's your job to regulate this traffic, aided by the loops at Fenny Compton. Also at Fenny Compton is the branch to Kineton MOD terminal.

The simulation represents the area both in its current state, and in the days before the closure of Fenny Compton signal box, where capacity is constrained by longer section lengths. This era also features absolute block working to Banbury.

Leamington Spa is a Payware simulation - to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a license from the Products area .
