Introduction

Waterloo is the busy domestic and international terminal in south London. Trains from as far as Paris and Brussels have to share tracks with the Chessington local trains (amongst others!) for a while before disappearing over the viaduct towards Brixton, Ashford, and the Channel Tunnel.

Nineteen domestic platforms and five international platforms are available for your use, along with the eight approach tracks all the way to Clapham Junction. There the lines diverge, one set to Wimbledon, the other to Barnes.

Because of its size, trains can be re-routed fairly easily, to get around failures, bottlenecks, and suchlike - but you have to watch out that the train can still call at all its stations.

The Waterloo area is also simulated in the Wimbledon simulation. The two simulations are completely independent and are maintained separately, with Waterloo being written a decade before Wimbledon, which was developed from scratch.

Waterloo is currently free to download and play, although Donations are gratefully received.
