Scoring

Scoring

Points are awarded each time a train passes a timetabled location on time and on the right platform (if specified). Fewer points are awarded if the wrong platform is used or the train is slightly late.

When a train enters the area, its current delay is remembered and taken into account for the purposes of determining how much you delay the train. For example, if a train enters 10 minutes late and passes each station enroute 10 minutes late then for the purposes of scoring you will receive the full allocation of points as you have not delayed that train any further.

Points are lost for cancelling routes in front of trains which cause an adverse change of aspect for that train. The exception to this is if the driver has been told that the signal will be replaced where no points will be lost.

Points can also be lost for various other reasons depending on the simulation.
