ARS on: an option to aid solo playing
Note that Largs and Gourock have an auto-working facility in reality and if you select this when playing with ARS the auto-working principles will be the default. See the entries for these areas for further information.
ARS-ACI is available as standard (at selected locations) when the ARS option is chosen. Otherwise the
‘simple’ Non-ARS ACI option is provided at key locations. These are marked with a purple “ACI” and a click-able circle.
Enables two line passenger running between Hunterston and Ardrossan which allows diesel passenger trains to use the up line and deletes the bi-di. In reality the line was double throughout to Largs, which had 4 platforms and ECS sidings, but I have insufficient details to fully add that.
The layout as found during the days of the NX panel specifically in 2008 just prior to closure.
Updated to reflect the tripling of the line between Shields Jn and Paisley. There are a number of off-screen cross-overs between the lines which are not included, though the timetable locations are (as non-mandatory). Timetable writers will need to decide which entry/exit best represents the operational reality when viewed from Paisley's perspective.
