Snow Hill Station

TRTS is provided at Snow Hill Station

Trains reversing behind signal 459 should be routed to the white shunt arrow at Jewellery Quarter.

Caledonia Yard

A route must be set from signals 181/172 into the sidings, after the ground frame has been operated and the siding points moved.

A phone call is required to the Caledonia Yard sidings shunter before the slot on 181/172 can be given.

Tyseley

A phone call to obtain a slot is necessary to send an arrival in on the departure line of the depot from Small Heath. No phone call is necessary to the arrival line, or either line at the Tyseley South Jn end.

Tysley GF works the non-track circuited crossover between the Up and Down Fast. It does not apply to the Up Sidings connection.

Tysley GF can only be operated if the points between signals 165 and 157 are Normal.

Dorridge

Bentley Heath LC is worked by a crossing keeper; once a route is set across it the keeper will lower barriers as a train approaches, the slot light will illuminate to indicate the route is proved and in use, and then the relevant signal will clear to the appropriate aspect.

Hatton

The full overlap of signal 115 extends to the Up Leamington. The warner route must be used to select the overlap towards the DGL.

If the warner route is selected, a route cannot be set from 115 to 109 unless the approaching train has come to a stand at 115 and the overlap has released, or the warner route to 115 is cancelled and the main route set instead.
