Signalling

Signals Held At Red

The following signals will not clear to a proceed aspect until the next signal has either cleared or is ready to clear:

  • VC157 to VC161
  • VC159 to VC161
  • VC493
  • VC495
  • VC497
  • VC499 to VC519/VC521
  • VC501 to VC519
  • VC503 to VC519
  • VC505 to VC101
  • VC505 to VC519
  • VC507 to VC519
  • VC509 to VC519
  • VC511 to VC519
  • VC831 (Wimbledon) to VC851

Unusual Approach Control

Where a diverging route speed is one-third or less of the straight route, approach control will normally apply. This list shows situations where this is not the case.

  • VC521 into either siding (no approach control)
  • VC827 into platform 10 (2000/2010/2014 eras)
  • VC944 to VC934 until track NBH occupied or VC934 off

Aspect Transitions

Where a four-aspect signal can read towards both three- and four-aspect signals on different routes, the signal will show a green aspect if the three-aspect signal is showing single yellow or green. This happens in a number of places on the simulation, such as Sutton towards West Croydon.
