Edge Hill

London Midland Region

Introduction

Welcome to Edge Hill! Take control of the busy lines out of Liverpool Lime Street, which host a range of local commuter, fast regional and inter-city services. The area is controlled by 9 different signalboxes, with a variety of operating mechanisms, from straight mechanical to lever frames controlling colour light signalling, conventional panels and the highly unusual miniature frame at Lime Street.

In addition to the large amount of passenger traffic, you’re also responsible for a variety of goods services to half a dozen Merseyside docks and terminals. Unlike most simulations, the boxes under your control are responsible for controlling the run round, propelling and shunting operations of these trains, so this is one simulation where you can’t simply set a route into a siding and forget about it! The simulation also includes a SimSig first in the unloading lines at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station.

If the area looks a bit big for you, why not try Liverpool Lime Street ?

Edge Hill is a Payware simulation- to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a License from the Shop .
