Oxted

Southern Region

:usertrack:areainfo:oxted.png

Introduction

One of the smaller boxes in the Southern Region, Oxted controls the commuter line to East Grinstead, and the non-electrified branch line to Uckfield. While the area is fairly simple, there are quite a few unusual features to keep the operator entertained, and the single-track Uckfield line can present a regulating challenge if delays are prevalent.

Oxted is free to download and play, although Donations are gratefully received.

I would like to thank the following people, in no particular order, without whose help and patience, this simulation would not have been possible: Thanks to Geoff Mayo for creating SimSig and allowing me to become part of the development team. Neil Brady, Chris Lord, Andy Greenland, Dave McCormick, Noel Young, Matt Cooper, Ben Woodward, James Nelhams, David Atkinson, Chris Hobden, John Bessant, Tom O'Flaherty. The staff at Oxted signalbox for allowing me access to their place of work and putting up with numerous questions.

Many thanks to Noel Young for the 15th October 2009 timetable and John Bessant for the 2014 Timetable.
