Introduction

Welcome to Paisley, controlling numerous electrified routes to the south-west of Glasgow. You control the Glasogw- Stranraer line from a point a few miles west of Glasgow to a few miles south of Ayr, and also branch lines to Gourock, Wemyss Bay and Largs. You'll also be responsible for one end of the single lines to Kilmarnock and Mauchline.

Passenger traffic consists of a frequent electric service to Ayr and the various branches, with only a handful of diesel services continuing beyond Ayr to the south. The area also sees a large amount of freight traffic, mostly coal traffic from Hunsterton Port. Traffic is also generated by Killoch colliery, and several other terminals in the control area. Good regulation is key to keeping both sets of traffic moving, especially on the single line towards Hunterston.

Full ARS is provided, while those preferring manual operation have the option of Simple ARS at Gourock and Largs.

Paisley is a Payware simulation- to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a license from the Shop .
