Double Dock

Double Dock

Double Docking refers to the act of having two trains in the same platform without them joining to each other, or having divided. The two trains are completely independent of each other. Though more common in decades past, these days the safety people prefer this not to happen in normal running except in bay platforms or certain designated locations.

The more modern definition of this is Platform Sharing, and this is the term used in Loader versions of SimSig.
