Emergency Alarm

Emergency Alarm

Emergency Alarms are used between adjacent signalboxes working under Track Circuit Block (TCB) regulations. They provide an immediate way for signallers to alert the adjacent box that an incident has occurred which requires all trains approaching their area to be stopped.

To activate the alarm, right click the 'Give' button; all trains will be held outside your control area until the alarm is cancelled with a left-click. If you receive an alarm, set the last signal out of your control area to red (even if a train is approaching it), an left-click the 'Acknowledge' button to confirm this has been done.

While Emergency Alarms are provided at all TCB fringes, many SimSig simulations omit them; at present they are only simulated in the Wales & Borders series.
