An LU train won't fit into Willesden platform 2. The driver knows this and so is complaining.

If you check the longer bay platform when starting the game, an LU train might probably just fit. Without, it surely would have its back in the points.

The platform though is too short for a coupled pair of 2 car class 172 units, any of these need to do a north end shunt to access the NLL and is definately too short for a 7 car Bakerloo set, though it would take a 4 car though they don't normally run. The only option I've found is to turn trains round in the DL at Harrow vice running into the sidings, saves about 20 minutes.

What about also:- - terminating at Willesden Junction platform 3, then forming up journey off that platform back across the points towards Kensal Green? - shunting forward from Willesen Junction towards Harlesden tunnel, then back across to platform 1? - terminating at Stonebridge Park, then empty into LU Depot and back out again? - turning at North Wembley? You'll save a fair bit of time with any of those movements. Log in to reply |
