Deleting/renaming images stored on the Wiki? 26/11/2011 at 05:17 #23652 | |

I uploaded the image :usertrack:pln1.png to the Wiki, then realized I should have made its title more informative. As a result I would like to either rename it or delete it. I can't find any way of doing either, even after checking with DocuWiki. I suspect that this requires Access Control Lists (ACL) to be enabled. Sensibly, this may be outside the permissions granted to the average registered user. Would someone who knows the Wiki well please confirm this and/or suggest how an ordinary forum member should approach this problem? In the meantime, make sure any pic you upload is properly labelled; once in there you can change its location (I think) but may require admin help to rename or delete it. Thanks. I can delete it but can't see an option to rename (possibly for the same reason you can't rename a page). I don't know where you've used it though. Let me know if you want it deleted. I'm going to be making some admin changes to the Wiki later which might help. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Thanks Geoff. Overlooked your reply till now. Probably best if I PM you with details to avoid cluttering up the Forum.
