I was looking through youtube videos recently and came across this one. When I was there in July, I was actually able to have a go at setting routes for a few trains - all under supervision of course. This is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76fAHAxv0Dw I'm pretty sure that anyone visiting the Didcot Railway Centre could try their hand at being a signalman on a real, although now obsolete, control panel. Great stuff! Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Last edited: 05/09/2018 at 07:36 by bugsy Reason: Added text Log in to reply |

I remember that visit. First time I had ever been in a PSB and it was extremely interesting. I remain a member of the SPS and the work on the panel, both the dismantling and reassembling, was great fun. Dave Log in to reply |
