Hi people,

on the East Coastway simulation I am finding an issue on the Seaford branch side where Beach Road level crossing which is the crossing after Newhaven Harbour in the Seaford direction seems to be stuck down after a train has passed it, I did check everything to see if there were any signals still activated however I couldn't spot anything obvious. This then lead to the train from Seaford being stuck at a red signal due to it saying 'route not available' and trains being stuck at Newhaven Harbour since the Seaford to Brighton train was occupying the single line. Does anyone know the cause of this?

Louis.

Louis, could you provide us a save game and also paste the contents of the technical info please. (found by going to the menu -> help -> about, click on technical info and click copy) This always makes it easier for us to look at issues as we are able to see what you see rather than starting from a blank sim and finding that we are not being able to recreate the issue.
Cheers

Thanks Louis

To Raise the level crossing after the passage of the train, you need to manually normalise NH18 Points (circled).

After normalising theses points (Lest click once on them will key them normal, left click again will remove the key off of them) you'll then be able to raise the barriers

To get a train off the branch, the train need to be occupying the TC that is adjacent to NH40 Signal. When this TC is occupied and both level crossings are down, you'll be able to clear NH40 towards NH39. Just be aware that the signals have sequence locking on them so NH40 won't be able to be set to NH39, if you have already set the route from NH39 to CCO37.

From looking at your save, be aware that East Coastway does not ave any ACI (Automatic Code Insertion), so you need to manually insert any new train headcodes. Both PLT1 and PLT2 at Eastbourne are seed trains that divide so you need to manually interpose the divided headcodes for those trains on the starting of the simulation.

Hope that helps. Any other issues have a look to see if its been posted before else let us know and we'll see what we can work out

Hi, thank you very much, so would I have to actually click on the points to reset them to raise the barriers?

Yes, left click on the points to normalise them, then you can click the rai button on the barriers. In the actual frame, the lever that locks the barriers in the frame is interlocked with the the lever for the points.
