The venue is an industrial themed Heritage railway in Preston. Depending on final arrangements the meet will either be hosted in a vintage MK1 carriage, or the railways brand new mezzanine area overlooking the museum hall.
A beer and cider festival will be happening at the same time as the meet with ample access to a selection of drinks.
The railway has a cafe on site serving hot and cold food.
Beer tokens for use at the festival can be bought in advance of the event, or can be purchased on the day.

Please offer recommendations. Previous meets have included for example a meal at a Mexican restaurant followed by drinks at one or more local pubs. That is not included in the entrance fee for the meet!
The meet is often followed by dinner in an Indian restaurant which usually starts fairly soon after the close of the meet at 18:00. Suggestions for a suitable venue would be welcomed.
Given the change in venue for this meet we may well take a communal trip on the train, and order takeaway.
There is no visit arranged to date.
