Movements into Glazebrook MSC Sidings - no paths found error 24/11/2017 at 02:37 #103264 | |

I've updated to the new version of the Hunts Cross simulation (released 24/11/2017), but still have problems trying to route freights into Glazebrook MSC sidings (British Tar Products depot). Coming out of the depot works fine now. I've tried Trafford Park East Jn to Glazebrook East Jn or signal 47 reverse or signal 16 revers, thence to MSC sidings, but still get a "no paths found between..." error message on validation. Could someone advise the locations required please. See 6M08 and 6M18 in attached timetable file.

Further testing suggests that the following paths are missing, but required: Glazebrook East Jn - Signal 47 reverse Glazebrook East Jn - Signal 16 reverse Glazebrook East Jn - Glazebrook MSC Sidings There may be others, but it's not possible to detect them as a user with the above not in place. It should be sorted in the next update. Essentially speaking (and applogies if I am pointing out the very obvious here): ->Glazebrook East Junction is essencially in rear of signals GE18, GE38 and GE50. ->Glazebrook Signals 16 and 47 are behind signals 16 and 47 respectivally. ->To timetable a train from Trafford Park, you'll need to have Glazebrook East Junction in the timetable before either 16 or 47. Finally, in the timetable you provided, you also had a train going into Allerton TMD which was not validating. This should also now be resolved. Hopefully this all makes sense, and I'm sure you'll be back with more queries and bits which I've missed :) This will be in 1.0.4 when pushed James Last edited: 25/11/2017 at 20:25 by pedroathome Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: whatlep |

Yes it all makes sense. Thanks for your patience and support. I'd noted the Allerton issue, but I felt I was throwing enough stress around without mentioning that one. Looking forward to 1.0.4. Would rather do it all in one go rather than back and forwards to it. is there any other issues which you've spotted? James Log in to reply |

It doesn't seem possible to route from Liverpool South Parkway to Hunts Cross 91/92 signals and then reverse into Allerton Depot. No idea if it should be possible in real life, but HC91/92 are locations available for use in timetabling. Incidentally, I do very much like the Warrington Central manual box "feel". It certainly reminds me of operating that box (somewhat unofficially) around 40 years ago. Please take a well-earned garland. Log in to reply |

I still get an error message that ALLERTNTMD is a bad destination, but there is no objection from the program to reversing at HC 91/92.pedroathome in post 103386 said:Can I just ask a silly question here, but do you have Hunts Cross West Junction in the TT. On the other hand, I've found that HC100 is another signal which clears to green when it should be yellow. I haven't found any others though. HC100 is two behind 3S07 standing at HC West Jn in the attached file. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |
