From the manual... Quote: The “platform” for Haywards Heath Platform 1 extends beyond Signal T345, towards the spur. This allows for trains to pull past the signal to fit into the platform. This should only be used for freight trains that need to run-round.Sounds like you are routing the train onto the mainline towards Wivelsfield rather than the spur. Planotransitophobic! I also took some screenshots. I hope they can help :) The correct route: to the end of the SPUR. Later, the "6O47" will run forward and detach with the "unknown" train. Interpose the correct TD and set the shunt route. Later again, another "unknown" train appears on the other side. (of course that is 0O47) Finally, two becomes one, and you will receive a message later telling you the trains are joined. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. " said:I also took some screenshots. I hope they can help :) I have a suspicion that in real life the "correct TD" would never get interposed, rather that 6O47 would be interposed on the waiting train and the engine would be allowed to continue with the description it has for the first stage, then without a description after it reappears. After all, it's a purely local move under the control of one signalman and it won't be on the panel for more than a few moments. SimSig doesn't need the description to be interposed to function correectly; the train "knows" it's 0O47 regardless of what description is attached to it. (And I've yet to find a siggy who'd deliberately make themselves extra work like that ) Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Hooverman |
