From several subject on the list, I noted changes in the number and format of the TD's.

I assume there is no intension to increase the 4 char berth display within the Sims,
but what is now the limit and format for the TD within a WTT?

Which or all of the following is valid when dealing with duplicate trains.

1A01, 1A011, 1A01-1, 1A01A1, 1A01-A1.

Thanks Peter.

I take it anything after the first four characters now goes.

Dave,

Basically, yes. It is really down to the TT writer themselves. SimSig has no stipulations on additional numbers after the initial 4.

There might be an upper limit, don't know what it is, but certainly 3 (as in '-1A' os OK.

There can be problems though if more than one of the trains is in-sim at the same time.

Thanks for all that. Reason is I'm developing a couple of TT for the early 70's and
at that time Class 2 and ECS on there way to sidings used route/destination TD's
instead of individual reporting numbers.
