I just noticed: When I sent more trains to the up Goods line at Mossband Junction, the second train (4M78-A) passed signal CE505 and is now breathing on the back of the previous 6M16. I haven't by any means given it authority to do it. Is this behavior of a permissive signaled line or is it not normal? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. The screenshot doesn’t look like that section could be permissive, seeing as the signal has no subsidiary aspect.

Goods line signals don't require that - they can be marked (don't ask me how!) so that a driver may pass them at danger after a certain amount of time. The Sheffield sim has some roundabouts Chesterfield, if I remember correctly.

The signals on the goods lines around Chesterfield used to have subsidiary signals and operated in the conventional manner (albeit automatically), as far as I'm aware.
