Hello all,

I don't know if anyone has the 2003 WTT by any chance, but if so could someone tell me the routeing of the hourly Waterloo - Guildford's via Woking please? In the day, these leave Waterloo at xx:56. They can't go straight onto the slow as the xx:56 to Hampton Court leaves Waterloo at the same time.

Do these cross to the slows at some point? Given that they are non stop to Surbiton by my estimate they should get to Surbiton at around xx:10 going straight down the Fast Line, but they are due to leave Surbiton at xx:15. So as an example, 2F69 leaves at 1456 and leaves Surbiton at 15:15. Does it cross over somewhere before slowing it down a bit?

Any help appreciated :)

James.

Hi James,

One thing to be remembered is that these are likely to have been class 455 units, which only have a top speed of 75mph, meaning they would take longer to get to Surbiton, so by my estimate, they may have just crossed over outside Surbiton.

Hope this helps.

--EDIT--
I have checked the pre-existing 2003 TT for the Waterloo simulation, and these Guildford via Woking services definitely proceed down the fast line as far as Wimbledon, but not sure what they did after Wimbledon. Booked passing time at Wimbledon was xx05.
Also, my apologies, they seem to have been CEPs/BEPs/CIGs/VEPs, which could do 90.

Hope this also helps.

Yes it has it down as far as Wimbledon. I don't have any data apart from the 2003 NRT that I'm using for station times past Waterloo, I'm just doing a little project in re-writing the 2003 Waterloo SimSig WTT converting it to Wimbledon.

The only other slight issue I've recently come across is not knowing the headcodes/stock down at the Epsom end on the Southern services!

Maybe these Guildford's switch at New Malden? Even then it still seem's it get's there before xx:15..

Ah Sacro beat my last post there :)

Ah so it does arrive there 4 minutes earlier, I guessed xx:10 so not far off! Just the NRT not saying 'arrives x minutes earlier' like some timings made me wonder if it did actually get there earlier. Thanks for that Sacro, much appreciated mate!
