Help....!

Not sure if anybody has had the same problem before, but when operating the Carlisle Sim with the excellent 79-80 timetable, 1M24 loses it's engine at various times between 10:10 and 10:20 on the up line between Harpendale Quarry & Tebay.

One minute it is running fine, and the next it is stationary with the F2 train list status showing 'No engine'. I have tried re-winding the sim a couple of times to the last snapshot (luckily I have them set to every 10mins) and it does it on every occassion, but funnily enough, at different times and different locations - the earliest it has done it is 10:10 near Harpendale Quarry (while approaching sig 143) and the latest is around 10:17 near Tebay (while approaching sig 116).

Can anybody help.....?

Thanks.

That's one I haven't seen before!

Carlisle is now quite old and it would be difficult to debug to find out why that's been happening. Suffice to say I have not seen that while working towards a re-release.

Is the train randomly coming to a stand?

Cannot say I've seen 1M24 stopping randomly with reports of no engine, while I have been trying out this timetable while sorting my new release timetable.

Thanks Barry - Try this one that shows the 'No Engine' - I made a mistake with the train ID - It is actually 1M25 and not 1M24.

Now my PC has shut down and re-started since the problem, I can't seem to get it to replicate the issue again so maybe some kind of temporary glitch.....

For some reason my PC won't let me upload a file to the server.

I attach the file and press upload but I get a run-time error - not sure how to work around it - can anybody help....?

Check the file size - website is not terribly helpful at the moment for that sort of issue. Less than 1Mb should be good.
