Apologises if this has appeared elsewhere, but can I ask if there is any differences between the M T W T F timetables - they all seem to handle the same number of trains - 1237. Thanks Log in to reply |

There are rules in place so different trains run on different days.

Are you referring to the Carlisle 1979-1980 timetable? If you are there are several trains that only run on certain days of the week as Karl says there are also rules or decisions in the timetable that govern when these trains appear. Also in the Carlisle 1979-1980 timetable there are several trains taken from the actual Special Traffic Notices for the period which again only run on certain days of the week, so yes there is definately a difference between each day of the week to the actual number of trains that run. No 2 days are the same.

I've edited the Manual in the Wiki to clarify how the daily TTs work.
