Does anyone know where you can find working timetables for trains under the control of Victoria ASC (Victoria South Eastern panel)?

Looks like I'm going to doing things the long way then. But again, I may just stop any development of this timetable. ;) Edit: 31/03/2019: I have imputed some workings from Victoria, however they all seam to leave late. Why is this? (5D55 is due to leave at 00:18) and also when they do leave several minutes late they appear on the panel as [xXxx] Last edited: 31/03/2019 at 16:28 by thegamer7893 Reason: Edited original comment and added an update and a question regarding a bug with picture proof Log in to reply |

Everyone can see when a new post is made- we can't see that you've edited a previous post unless someone explicitly goes back and checks the thread. I only checked the thread because I saw Geoff had made a post, and noticed that you'd edited your post after he posted. Secondly, Geoff asked for a copy of the timetable- it's impossible to tell what the train's doing from a picture. Alternatively, a saved game would probably give us the information we need to help. In answer to the second part, if the train description is only interposed at the buffers not at the country end, it won't step up when the train departs from Victoria. Can you confirm if that's the case?

Yeah, a picture still isn’t going to help. Savegame would be much more useful.

It looks like you've started the simulation in 'Normal' mode, hence you're getting random late running. Timetables should always be tested in 'Easy' mode, with all delays/failures turned off.

Okay. I understand now. Now, since thats cleared up, why do trains appear on the panel as [xXxx]? (Although I think someone responded to me to say that "if the train description is only interposed at the buffers not at the country end, it won't step up when the train departs"

To have the headcodes interpose at the country end on seeding, seed at the signal number for the platform you want, instead of the platform seed location. Alternatively, you can seed at the platform location but then immediately give it a next service association at Victoria, which will cause ACI to step up to the next outbound service. Full details on how the TD stepping works at Victoria station are given in the manual: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=simulations:victoriasoutheast:TD Log in to reply |

Oh, I get it now, cheers. Plus also, on RTT, how do you get previous workings for trains and also how do you get trains towards a destination (for example the next station) to appear if imputed into the timetable

You will need to find someone with access to the unit diagrams to get definitive answers. Some of the time you can work it out from the platform details given in RTT e.g. if 1A00 goes into P5, there are no other trains in P5 and 1B00 then departs you may want to assume that 1A00 forms 1B00. However this is not guaranteed as some ECS workings don't show in RTT so you don't know if 5A00 goes off for servicing then 5B00 rolls in to form 1B00. Not quite as easy as it looks at first glance, is it? “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 01/04/2019 at 17:36 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |
