One of the bug bears that i find is that train lengths in SimSig are a bit haphazard. I accept that passenger train lengths are fairly easy as 999 time out of a 1000 they are fixed units. Freight presents another problem as they vary so much in length and from day to day. I an slowly compiling a spreadsheet with specific train lengths instead of a generalisation, which can then be imported into a timetable and the lengths amended. If anybody wants to keep an eye on movements in their locality and e-mail me the info with the following information
Location
Time & Date
WTTid (if known)
Train consist - no of wagons and what type.
