I have just started to get into the Exeter re-release (which is even better, although it's going to take me a while to get used to the LCs that no longer auto-raise!) There have been a lot of trains that aren't giving TRTS, they simply show as waiting at signal at the end of the platform (and then call in). They have definitely been recorded as 'departed', because pulling up their timetable no longer shows the current station and if they are late running their departure is listed in the message window, even though they have only moved to the signal at the end of the platform. This has happened at Paignton, St Davids, Central, Taunton & Newton Abbot. After some time I believe that the affected trains are those that have reversed in the platform (whether under the same headcode or a new one), as I have had TRTS for trains that are carrying on through. I don't recall this happening in earlier versions of Exeter, so wonder if it has been caused by changes in the core code.
