Just out of interest, when did the dc platforms switch from being P4/P7 - I'd assume sometime during the '60s rebuild
Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!!

It was part of the rebuild.

Next Problem - I have an engine 0M11 waiting at Camden Yard which never seems to get a clear road to proceed into Euston. I did press the button alongside this section of track but it just flashes on and off and nothing else happens. So what am I missing here ?
You need to follow the instructions in the manual.

i cant seem to successfully platform any of the morning 5D/5L/5M ECS trains into two platforms without having to make a lot of manual retimetabling and shuffling

Worked ok for me, with a bit of forward planning in the simplifier. 5M90 can go pretty much anywhere - P8 worked for me. 5M92 into P14, followed by 5M82 (as the latter's next working leaves before the former's). 5B01 can then go into P12, which isn't required for a while. I've never appreciated how useful the simplifier could be until now!

jc, DC train TTs have platform numbers allocated. Any trains without an allocated platform can fit in any vacant platform. You need to check the TT to see what platforms are available so as not to block those trains which have a platform allocated

not all the DC trains do have platform allocations in the morning, hence the need to do what late turn has suggested to me

Despite coming from or going to the DC lines, some of those early ECS movements are actually DMUs (presumably going to work the service on the T&H line).

Just as a suggestion to the un-numbered arrivals for the class 5's as the TT is modified to use any era plats 16-18 are unused and as such will not cause any conflict

They are labelled correctly.

Can you identify so the TT writer can put it right, please.

Could someone please explain how the F8 simplifier works - I don't have any button to click on mine to update the parameters I enter. I have read the manual and searched the wiki but cannot find the simplifier covered anywhere.

Select a location from the drop-down list.
Tick the specific location (e.g: a platform at Euston).
Click refresh at bottom.

Should work.
