Hi from newbie Mal. I'm enjoying the prospect of the New Street sim. I did 12 years as platform staff upto 2001 (I'm off the tablets now!) Having seen inside New St PSB the sim will be a real beauty!

I remember when i was Driver training at reading i had the pleasure of driving to new st a few times on a 47, birmingham was a headache for shunting etc .Reading depot signed via coventry and solihull we lost all the work when the railways went private i beleive all the drivers had to got to a route school because of the complex layout

cheers

Hi Sam,

you might find the following thread of use for information regarding New Street. It's probably worth stating that there is no release date - the thread below is dormant owing to there not being much more to say as the sim is still in development. And you're right about New Street being complex...

Hi folks. I would like to offer my services for this one (if they are needed this late in the day). I have worked in every grade at BHM up to and including Platform Supervisor with occasional HGD as Station Co-ordinator before moving to Central Trains (as it then was) control.

Tim
