Hi
Just a query,im playing Westbury paged sim at the moment,winter 2004 timetable(standard)and i have not encountered any lineside failures.The sim time up to 11.47.started at 00.00.

Have you actually set the level of failures using the options menu?

I have a hunch that the paged Westbury 'may' not have had the failures enabled then.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

I have the failues set as follows
Points failure-low - medium
Signal failure-low
T.C.F-low-medium
Train delay-None
max failures-1

its 14.07 still no line side failures

Yes it looks like the lineside failures are not enabled

As I recall the earliest paged version did have lineside failures but they ceased for some reason with the next version. However it can be very awkward if you set the train delays to high!!!
