Quick question about these two (beyond platform 1), namely how long are they? The default 2009 TT has a join move that's supposed to take place in the "North Turn Back" (a pair of 2-car 150s hooking up) and I took it to mean one of these sidings. However whilst the join takes place OK in siding 1, the TC at the end of platform 1 remains occupied, so it's impossible to route anything into it (or for that matter to get the joined sets out again as they're past the GPL). So I'd like to know whether it's possible to do a join move in the other one (sdg 2), if not where to do this and also how long each siding is for future reference. Cheers in advance..... It's not the siding length, it is the stopping position of the train. If you edit the TT to set all trains entering the turnbacks as far end stops, all of the joins take place without being foul of P1. Aha! Didn't realise they were long enough for the stopping position to come into play, but obviously it does. Thanks for that - will edit the timetable for the offending join and hopefully everything will work this time.....

I had this problem, too. I just did a platform alteration or two. However, I don't recall any problem getting back out again.
