it appears to me that signal 148s splitting distand repeater displays a wrong route to a driver when i have set a route from camden to euston, the left hand indicator lights. equally when routing to camden road, the right hand repeater lights. am i missing something regarding new lines signalling principles, or the layout of camden junction, or is this a genuine fault? As far as I can read from Clive's description of the New Lines signalling that is how they are designed to work. Have a look at http://www.davros.org/rail/signalling/lmsr/newlines.html for a full explanation (about 2/3 of the way down is a section on junctions and I think what you are seeing is described at the bottom of that section).

noted: read the article originally but it never sunk in the repeaters were "reversed"

That LMS signalling was really wierd. It used to exist between Barking & Upminster too but was superseded by Barking & Upminster Regulating Rooms. Equally wierd was that, where signals were controlled from a signalbox, the lever heads weren't shortened!!!!
